Measurement is a critical aspect of improvement. This video focuses on measurement for improvement with an emphasis on using a diverse family of measures, frequent measurement over time, and, most importantly, using measurement for learning, not judgment. Using the different types of measurement effectively will build a culture of learning and advancement while working collaboratively towards the aim. Prioritizing the use of these measurement strategies will capture different views of the system that is being improved and tell the story of the improvement journey.
